Reg Rankings 4

While the top 3 remain the same from the previous week it there was still a lot of movement in the rankings for the Southeast.  A North Georgia sweep over Young Harris improved them in both the NFCA rankings and the Massey Ratings to 9 and 5 respectively.  Meanwhile a consistent win streak for Pfeiffer keeps them at the #1 spot in our rankings and the #2 overall spot in the NFCA ratings.  However, with North Georgia strength of schedule if both teams are able to win out expect North Georgia to sit as the #1 seed heading into the tournament.

Armstrong State who was once way ahead of the pack has come back to reality.  A 2-2 week and a 4-4 record in the month of April has dropped the Pirates out of the NFCA rankings, however their impressive strength of schedule, 1st in SE and 15th overall, still places the Pirates as the 2nd strongest team in the Massey Ratings.  Limestone has climbed a spot thanks to a 4-0 week helping to add to their 8 game win streak and now program first top 20 ranking of 18 in the NFCA polls.  Young Harris who fell two spots to #6 when they went 0-2 in the region and 1-3 overall last week. .

Limestone is tied with the #5 team Lenoir-Rhyne for the longest win streak in the Southeast at 9 games.  Lenoir-Rhyne has returned to the NFCA rankings at #24 and climbed 3 spots in our rankings thanks in part to sweeps over Anderson and Coker to take sole possession of first place in the South Atlantic standings.  Carson-Newman fell 1 spot to #7 going 2-2 this past week being swept by Coker and then sweeping Lincoln Memorial.

Despite going 1-1 on the week Flagler moved up to #9 in part to a strength of schedule that puts them at the 7 spot in the Southeast in the Massey Ratings.  While Georgia College who went 4-2 including a split fell to 9th in our ratings and are the 10th ranked Southeast team in the Massey Ratings at 55 overall.  This is 5 spots behind Coker who would have moved after a sweep of Carson-Newman but the Cobras were swept by Lenoir-Rhyne on Tuesday keeping them at the 10 spot with the most losses in our top 10 in the region.  Newberry and Anderson find themselves just outside the top 10 with Newberry as the new addition.
